Janet Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett & More Attend the Armani 40th Anniversary in Milan
When you build a legacy as vast and great as Giorgio Armani’s, of course the world will come to your doorstep for your grand 40th anniversary fete. The celebration took place on Thursday night in Milan and the cast of actors, musicians, models, and Italian dignitaries that showed made for a very glamorous evening indeed.
Long time Armani loyalist Janet Jackson, who hasn’t been to a public function in over two years, attended the affair on the arm of her rarely seen husband, Wissam Al Mana. Though her ensemble was understated (read: all black with a black skull cap), the 48-year-old looked amazingly fresh-faced and happy.
And what’s not to love? The evening consisted of the celebration of the new Armani/Silos exhibition space and a fashion show for 500 that featured pieces from the Giorgio Armani Privé collection. Also making the rounds was Tom Cruise in a black suit, and Leonardo DiCaprio, who looked a bit like a Martin Scorcese character with his hair pulled back, dark sunglasses, and a full beard.
