Janelle Monáe Wore Christian Siriano to the Met Gala 2019 Red Carpet

As a frequent ruler of red carpets everywhere, it's not exactly a surprise that Janelle Monáe arrived at the 2019 Met Gala with one of the evening's best hats. In a night that's already included multiple outfit changes from Lady Gaga and enough color to brighten my entire day, the singer fully went there for the night's Camp theme, arriving with a hat that nearly defied gravity.

Wearing an outfit from designer Christian Siriano, Janelle went with a literal head-to-toe interpretation of the camp theme. It all started with her choice of accessories. The star wore one hat that held three other hats on top. The accessories were built up into a tower, with one hat seemingly looking like it was about to fall to the ground. Of course, defying gravity was all in the name of style.

The rest of Janelle's wardrobe proved equally as impressive. Her dress was patterned to look split in two, with one side featuring black and white, and the other side featuring an eye and a colorful pink bottom. The contrasting colors extended to neck, and her left hand was also adorned with a sleeve that shaped itself into a glove.
