Janel Parrish Celebrated Her First Wedding Anniversary With an Original Song for Husband Chris Long

It's been a whirlwind year for Janel Parrish and not just because she's starring in the hit Pretty Little Liars spinoff series The Perfectionists and in Netflix's sequels to To All The Boys I've Loved Before. No, in addition to these things, Janel has been enjoying her first year of marriage to husband Chris Long. On September 8, the couple hit the 1-year mark, and Janel celebrated the milestone anniversary in the sweetest way possible: with a song.

Getting through the first year of marriage can be quite the rollercoaster and sure, Janel and Chris may have had some bumps along the way. But Janel wrote a special, original song titled "Everything" to commemorate all of the many highs her first year of marriage to Chris has had.

Janel even shared the very gorgeous original song to her Instagram. She set the song to a video of rare footage from the couple's September 2018 wedding in Oahu, Hawaii, with highlights like the couple's first dance. Janel revealed in the caption to the video she wrote the song especially for the wedding and is now ready to share it with the world, making it not just a gift to Chris but a gift to her fans, too.

It's so sweet to see how far these two have come on their journey together and to see where they're at today. If there's one thing that perfectly encapsulates just how precious Janel and Chris's journey has been, it's the caption she wrote to accompany the "Everything" video. She writes, "One year ago today, I married my favorite person in the universe. My happy place. We have already been through SO much and come out even stronger together.

Janel ended the caption in the best way, telling Chris directly: "Forever and always. Happy Anniversary, baby. You save me every day, in every way."
