How much do we love Jane Seymour? Elegant yet humble, she’s someone we’ve admired on the red carpet for decades, and an actress who always makes a show worth catching. She’s not a doctor, but she played one on TV—maybe our favorite medicine woman of all time (paging Dr Quinn!). And she makes everything she appears in better, from the series The Kominsky Method to the recent film Friendsgiving.

This classic beauty is also a lifestyle and self-help author. So who better to chat with in these challenging times? The stunning Ms. Seymour took some time away from her work to share the products that have helped her through this long stay-at-home year—snap up these favorites to make the upcoming winter easier, smoother, and prettier.

Seymour is lucky to be in a warm climate. “I live by the beach, so I’ve got one in almost every color,” she says of this flattering, affordable sun hat—which you can grab on Amazon to be ready for summer 2021. But that’s not the only reason she likes this topper. “It’s also been particularly useful when I was traveling and couldn’t get to the hairdresser...it hides the gray!”

Seymour’s been riding out the pandemic at home with her son. Like the rest of us, she’s been cooking a lot—and perpetually in search of anything to liven up her regular recipes. She found the answer in TruffleHunter’s White Truffle Oil. “We call this our quarantine special,” she says. “I put it on top of delicious mushroom ravioli, with a little parmesan.” Yum.

If there’s anyone we want skincare advice from, it’s Seymour. Though the calendar keeps flipping, Seymour’s skin continues to look smooth and dewy. “People always ask, ‘What’s your trick?’” she says, and shares her secret of Crépe Erase moisturizing products: “I always exfoliate, and then I put this on. It’s amazing.” Indoor heat this time of year can make skin feel and look dry and creased. Taking extra care, and moisturizing “day and night” is the answer. “In quarantine I want to make sure I keep my skin as good as possible,” Seymour says. Us too.

At the beginning of the pandemic, pulse oximeters were sold out everywhere. As you may recall, these little devices slide onto a finger and lets you know how well oxygen is binding to blood cells—a measurement that can help someone who has (or may have) COVID determine whether they need to go to the hospital.

“I swear by this,” says Seymour, of the Zacurate Finger Tip Pulse Oximeter, which she keeps on hand in case it’s needed for at-home monitoring. She speaks of a family member who caught the virus: “He needed a lot of oxygen, and this was the way he found out. My sister then called the doctor, who said, ‘The ambulance is on its way.”

Seymour sums up her pandemic protocol: “A mask, social distancing, and definitely an oximeter.”
