Jamie Lee Curtis, 64, Turns Heads in Dramatic, Lacey Look at the 2023 Golden Globes

Jamie Lee Curtis stepped out in yet another fabulous red carpet look for the 2023 Golden Globes.
This one featured a dramatic floor-length lace cape and a powerful strapless pantsuit.
Fans loved the look and so did Curtis.
Jamie Lee Curtis isn’t usually one for drama, but that rule went out the window when it came to her 2023 Golden Globes look. The actress, 64, walked the red carpet in a black strapless jumpsuit accessorized by an ornate, floor-length black lace cape that made her feel like a real-life superhero, she wrote on Instagram.
Curtis attended the ceremony to represent her recent film Everything Everywhere All at Once, for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture (an award that Angela Bassett ultimately took home for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever). Everything Everywhere was nominated for six awards total and won two, with Ke Huy Quan winning Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical/Comedy and Michelle Yeoh winning Best Actress in the same category.
“So proud of my friends, Michele and Ke and the whole creative bunch from @everythingeverywheremovie. We came! We changed the game,” Curtis wrote on Instagram. In another post, she thanked the designers behind her look—Valentino for her garments and Cathy Waterman for the silver cuffs and earrings that gave it the perfect pop of sparkle.
Fans loved the entire look—it was just as powerful as the popular plunging yellow gown she wore to present at the 2021 Golden Globe awards. “You look amazing, everything is just perfect,” one person commented. “You’re EVERYTHING 😍,” another added. “You are sparkling,” someone else wrote.
The all-black affair is just one of three extravagant looks Curtis has worn lately. Earlier this month, she attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards wearing a plunging black blazer and lace bell bottoms. Even more recently, she posed for British Vogue’s annual Hollywood portfolio wearing a black form-fitting gown with mesh see-through cutouts.

At 64, the actress is clearly having fun with fashion and beauty, and we love to see it. After all, it is part of her job. “I refer to my job as ‘show-off business,’” she told British Vogue. “I think I’m a show-off in the best sense of the word — in the, hopefully, least narcissistic sense—and more creative and fun sense.”
We would have to agree with her on that one!
