Jamie King Wins the Gold Medal in High-Low Styling

Fashion loves to talk about high low. Nothing says, “I know style,” quite like the ability to mix runway fashions with high street pieces—at least not since Anna Wintour paired those stonewashed Guess jeans with a bejeweled Christian Lacroix sweater on the cover of her Vogue debut.
Jaime King showed off her own styling prowess while out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday. The Barely Lethal actress paired this season’s on-trend fringe skirt—in black leather, by Tamara Mellon—with a sweatshirt from Kohl’s new collection in celebration of the new Star Wars film. It costs $36 to the skirt’s $895, and would look just as cute thrown over a pair of Levi’s.
The Kohl’s collection is actually full of gems for the Star Wars-lover still dreaming about Rodarte’s Fall 2014 collection.
Size down in this sweatshirt and pair it with a shocking blue skirt, like this one by Jonathan Simkhai, for a look like King’s. Or try pairing these leggings with a white tank to shake up your next yoga class and attract your own Luke Skywalker.
