Jamie Foxx is breaking his silence since being hospitalized three weeks ago.
Jamie's daughter Corinne revealed his hospitalization in April, saying he had “experienced a medical complication” the day before her post. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” she added.
Little else has currently come out regarding Jamie's condition — until today. It was announced that Nick Cannon would take over hosting duties for the Fox show Beat Shazam in Jamie's absence.
Jamie also made his first public statement today since his hospitalization, sharing a brief message of thanks through his IG page.
"Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," he wrote alongside several emojis, including the fox emoji.
Several celebrities have also recently showed their support for Jamie, including Jennifer Hudson and Kerry Washington.
Jamie also took to his IG Story to shout out Nick for filling in for him on Beat Shazam. "Appreciate ya my boy," he wrote, tagging Nick's Insta.
