  • James Charles was insulted by an Uber driver that threatened to harm him and his friend during a ride.

  • James reported the issue to Uber, and they're looking into it.

As much as people out there may dislike James Charles as a person, he still deserves respect, does he not? For example: Imagine minding your business and trying to have a fun and exciting day, when your Uber drivers hurls uncalled for insults and violent threats at you and your friend...after paying for the ride. Sadly, this is exactly what happened to James Charles and his employee while riding around in Orlando, Florida on the way to the Playlist Live festival.

James detailed the exchange with his Uber driver on Twitter, and contacted the company's customer service channel to get down to the issue. “@Uber@Uber_Support hi! one of your drivers in Orlando just called my employee & I dumbasses, bitches & threatened to hit us. Please contact me as soon as possible.”

Thankfully, Uber was very quick to respond to James' allegations. “We take this very seriously. Please send us a DM with your email address and phone number so we can connect ASAP.” That's everything we know so far about the incident, but James will be at the festival from February 28 to March 1.

The news of James' negative Uber experience comes just two days after he sent a message to his Twitter followers about the hate he gets online. "I get that a lot of people don’t like me. I’ve learned to accept & understand it—but the extent that some people on this app are willing to go in attempt to ruin my life is truly sad," he wrote. "I hope one day people find a way to feel validation without having to bash others for likes."

Now how 'bout we stop all this negativity, 'mmkay? Fab!
