James Charles Just Got Grilled on Camera Over Allegedly Harassing Straight Men

From Cosmopolitan

  • YouTuber James Charles is in a massive controversy after his former friend Tati Westbrook called him out in her "Bye Sister" video.

  • He's lost three million subscribers since, and now he's being tailed at the airport by people asking about the harassment allegations against him.

Just when I thought the James Charles drama could not possibly get messier after leaked texts from Nikita Dragun and Tea Spill got out, I was proven wrong! 2019 is officially the year of the messy YouTuber (see also: Tana Mongeau and Noah Cyrus's beef), and clearly that isn't stopping anytime soon.

Publicly, James has kept his mouth shut about Tati Westbrook's recent video about him-and the far more serious allegations against him claiming he harasses other men-but that didn't stop reporters from asking him Qs point-blank at the Brisbane airport. A new video shows James and his entourage speed walking their way past cameras, and it's cringey as hell.

"Do you sexually harass straight men, James?" the cameraman begins. "Is your tour going to continue, James?"

James did not utter a word in response to the questions hurled at him, but the whole thing is all kinds of uncomfortable to watch. While James has subscribed to a "silence is golden" mantra in the wake of the backlash against him, sources told Us Weekly that behind closed doors, he's pretty embarrassed.

“He feels like he didn’t do anything wrong in terms of the Coachella/Gummy drama,” the source said, adding that James feels "mortified" by it all.

Meanwhile, Tati has asked her followers (who now total a whopping 10 million and counting on YouTube) to cool it a little with the hatred.

"I feel like I need to remind you that we can hold truth & inspire change without grabbing on to hate," she tweeted a few days ago. "Honor your blessings, don’t abuse them. Celebrating pain will only bring it to your door."

Not a bad approach TBH.
