  • Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are reportedly happy with their decision to address affair rumors on the latest episode of Red Table Talk.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are reportedly content with their decision to head to the red table to air out their relationship drama, reported Us Weekly.

The longtime married couple made headlines last week after addressing rumors of an affair between the Girls Trip actress and musician August Alsina during a surprise episode of Pinkett Smith's Facebook Watch talk show, Red Table Talk. During their discussion, Pinkett Smith revealed that while separated from her husband, she began a relationship with the singer.

"They are a very vulnerable and open pair, and they felt this was the best move for their family," a source told Us. "This wouldn't even be a story if they weren't famous—it's a normal situation—break up, get back together."

Pinkett Smith further explained during the landmark episode that she needed a break from her marriage in order to learn about herself and confront "a lot of emotional immaturity, emotional insecurity," and do "some really deep healing." She said that she and Smith eventually reconciled, which led to Alsina cutting off contact with her. The actress also declared that she hasn't spoken to Alsina since she and Smith reunited.

"It's really frustrating to the whole family that their personal life is blasted out into the open, but they're used to it," the source continued. "But when you look at the facts, Will and Jada's situation is something that any normal couple could go through. Couples go through things, really hard things, but when it's true love, they reconcile and come out of it stronger."
