We are barely a month into 2019 and there are already three female candidates hitting the presidential campaign trail and a historic number of women storming the halls of Congress to shake up the status quo. (You do you, AOC!)

But it’s not up to some of us to create change. It’s going to take all of us.

Which is why MAKERS is bringing together the most passionate and powerful names across all industries to accelerate the women’s movement at The 2019 MAKERS Conference.

Joining MAKERS on Feb. 6 to 8 will be actor, producer and entrepreneur Jada Pinkett Smith; Time’s Up President and CEO Lisa Borders; civil rights activist and founder of the Me Too movement Tarana Burke; Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, producer, model and actress Ciara; founder and CEO of Backstage Capital Arlan Hamilton; and actor, activist and founder of @i_weigh Jameela Jamil.

The 2019 MAKERS Conference will also highlight the bold and untold stories of women on the front lines of various fields such as Dusty Roads, the woman who put an end to sexist practices in the airline industry; Nadya Okamoto, the voice behind the period movement; and Diana Trujillo, the NASA aerospace engineer who is a mission lead for the Mars rover and an advocate for young Latinx women to pursue STEM careers.

“A cornerstone of the women’s movement, The MAKERS Conference has become an annual gathering that drives the cultural conversation around equality,” says Lori Bongiorno, general manager of MAKERS. “The highly-anticipated fifth conference will once again give our audiences unprecedented access to these thoughtfully curated discussions.”

Returning to the MAKERS Conference will be author and activist Gloria Steinem; HuffPost Editor in Chief Lydia Polgreen; and author of Love Warrior and founder of Together Rising Glennon Doyle.

For real change to happen, it’s going to take all of us coming together to fearlessly build the future we deserve. Tune in to The MAKERS Conference Feb. 6 to 8 to join the conversation
