JSU, which will move up to FBS next season, is set to play SEC opponent South Carolina on Nov. 4 at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina.

The Gamecocks from Jacksonville are set to receive a school-record payment from the Gamecocks from Columbia.

"We're getting our first seven-figure paycheck by playing at South Carolina," Jacksonville State athletics director Greg Seitz said. "We're getting $1.3M. That's the highest guarantee we ever received at the FCS level was right around $550,000. Last year at Florida State we got $400,000."

The schools announced the game in May as a replacement game for USC because of a scheduling conflict for Liberty. South Carolina was on the books to pay Liberty $1.5 million, according to the Greenville News.
