Given his starring turn in the latest two installments of a certain horror franchise, you might be forgiven for thinking that Mason Gooding's favorite painting is Edvard Munch's The Scream, but he's actually partial to the Mona Lisa.

The actor just shared a pair of photos to Instagram in which he can be seen pointing to the iconic Leonardo Da Vinci portrait, captioned: "Let’s talk about art, I for one think it’s neat." But the only thing anyone in the comments noticed was the pair of guns that Gooding had brought into the gallery—his biceps looked even more jacked than usual in a white tank top.

"Arts cool and all," said Gooding's Scream VI co-star Jack Champion, "but those biceps 🤤." Tony Revolori, who also appeared in the movie, added: "Sorry I’m blinded by tank top wearing mason."

Meanwhile two actors who worked on Love, Victor with Gooding joked that he actually upstaged the famous masterpiece. "You are the art," said Nico Greetham, while Lukas Gage called Gooding "My Mona Lisa."

In a conversation with Men's Health earlier this year, Gooding explained that his "aesthetically pleasing" physique helps him embody the affable jock roles he plays in projects like Scream and Love, Victor, but that it's a long way from the "chubby kid" he used to be. "I was achieving something that I thought I couldn't," he said.

When it comes to those statement arms, Gooding uses variations on the classic compound lifts to build strength and size, including the trap bar deadlift and dumbbell bench press—but he also programs a lot of core and cardio work into his training sessions, including jump rope, weighted pullups, and handstand pushups.
