  • Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are selling their Malibu beach house.

  • They bought the home in 2019 and have now listed it for nearly $8 million.

  • Joanna Gaines may have helped the couple renovate their house before selling.

Jennifer Lopez and fiancé Alex Rodriguez have been staying busy during quarantine. Besides filming TikTok dance vids and doing their regular sweat seshes, they just listed their gorgeous Malibu beach house for $7.99 million, according to People. The five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom oceanfront home which has 50 feet of beach was previously owned by Entourage actor Jeremy Piven. In February 2019, J. Lo and A-Rod scooped it up for $6.6 million, per the Los Angeles Times.

J. Lo talked about the house during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year, and described it as a "fixer-upper next to the water."

And she also said that A-Rod surprised her for their two-year anniversary by commissioning Joanna Gaines of HGTV's Fixer Upper to fix up the pad.

"We got a little fixer-upper next to the water, and we were like, 'Oh, we gotta fix this up, it’s really a house that needs work,'" Jennifer explained at the time. "I was like, wouldn’t it be amazing to have [Joanna Gaines] do it for us? But she doesn’t do anything outside of Waco, like nothing."

And Joanna definitely visited the couples' home in March 2019. She, J. Lo, and A-Rod were photographed with a film crew on the beach outside, TMZ reported.

And in April 2019, J. Lo and A-Rod visited both Chip and Joanna Gaines in Waco, Texas.

However, it's unclear if the Gaines' actually helped renovate the home or not.

"Jennifer wanted to walk the space with Joanna in person," a source told People of the meeting. "They’re both extremely busy, but it’s hard to take on any kind of home project without actually seeing the space."

The source continued that the meeting was "really just an opportunity for them to walk the space together and for Joanna to hear Jennifer’s vision for the space."

Either way, the home is stunning!
