J.Lo Is Glowing in a White Blouse and Distressed Denim in the Dominican Republic
Nothing can stop Jennifer Lopez from showing off her signature glow.
The singer and actress posted to Instagram on Monday, marking the first time the superstar has shared a grid post since announcing her split from her former fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. In the images, captured by Lopez's makeup artist Kate Land, Lopez is on location in the Dominican Republic on the set of her upcoming romantic comedy, Shotgun Wedding. For the casual photo op, Lopez is smiling and laughing while sporting a white button down blouse, matching distressed denim, her signature honey highlights, and a natural face beat.
"Coffee talk," Lopez captioned the post and tagged Super Coffee, which she was presumably drinking in her "J" initial mug.
Last week, the star released a joint statement with Alex Rodriguez announcing their split and ending of their engagement. She was noticeably not wearing her engagement ring in the new photo too.
"We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so," they said in their statement. "We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another's children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."
According to E! News, Lopez is "at peace" with her decision to break off her engagement to the former baseball star, and ultimately trust issues between the couple are what set their relationship off course.
"Once her trust is broken, there's no turning around," a source told the outlet. "She feels good about her decision because she knows A.Rod will still be in her life, just in a different capacity."
