J.Law Spotted with a Mystery Man
Update, 6:10 p.m.: After Jennifer Lawrence was seen out on a "date" with a mystery man in New York last night, according to the Daily Mail, her companion has been identified as producer Gene Stupnitsky, who's written for The Office and HBO's Hello Ladies. It's likely that the two were just meeting for work rather than actually on a date.
The pair was spotted walking side by side on the sidewalk, but they they didn't show any PDA, leaving their possible relationship status (if there is one at all) as vague as possible. J.Law was photographed throwing her head back in laughter, showing she was enjoying herself.
The Oscar winner was dressed aptly for the chilly NYC April weather, in a military coat, micro crossbody bag, and black thigh-high boots. Her pal, on the other hand, dressed in a shearling jacket, dark jeans, and brown boots.
Lawrence hasn't gone public with any relationships or flings since splitting with director Darren Aronofsky in November 2017. In February, J.Law said of her ex in an interview, "I still love him very much." The former couple, who worked on the film mother! together, dated for a little over a year.
Since going public with their breakup, Lawrence has had to shut down dating rumors with other celebs. There was one with Brad Pitt (she joked, "I'm not super excited to shut that rumor down") and a more serious rumor about an alleged affair with her former costar, Chris Pratt. "I never had an affair with Chris Pratt on Passengers," she said in February.
So now that J.Law is singlet, what does one have to do to land a date with her? "Honestly just ask me," the actress said in a GQ video last month. "I have not been touched by a man in a very long time."
