Ivanka Trump Wishes Her Father a Happy Birthday With Throwback Photo

First daughter Ivanka Trump wished her father, Donald Trump, a happy birthday by sharing a vintage family photo.

“Happy birthday to my incredible father @realDonaldTrump. I hope that the year to come is your best yet!” Ivanka tweeted Wednesday in honor of the president’s 71st birthday, while sharing a throwback snap of what looks like her childhood birthday party.

The father-daughter pair have always been close. At 10 years old, Ivanka was her father’s date in 1991 at the Maybelline Presents: Look of the Year ceremony at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

That same year, they attended the U.S. Open Tennis Championship, while Donald multitasked on a giant cellphone.

No matter where they are in this image, Donald and Ivanka appear to be taking copious notes.

During the 1993 grand opening of the Harley Davidson Cafe in New York City, Ivanka went biker chic while Donald kept it business casual.

For the Sixth on Seventh “Versus by Versace” Spring Collection Fashion Show in 1995, Donald added an unusually bold accessory: a bright tie.
