Ivanka Trump Rocks a Bipartisan Updo to the Second Presidential Debate
Ivanka Trump’s father Donald Trump might be heading the Republican party as its presidential candidate for the 2016 election, but she’s not letting her family’s political stance get in the way of really great hair.
The 34-year-old business woman tapped celebrity hairstylist Christopher Marrero, a registered democrat, to create the gorgeous, face-framing low-slung chignon she wore to the second presidential debate Sunday evening in St. Louis, Missouri.

The morning after the political event, Marrero shared a few close-up shots of Trump’s updo on Instagram, with the caption: “Being a democrat didn’t stop me from working with the #gorgeous @ivankatrump last night, styling her with this #chignon for the #presidentialdebate #hair by Me! #updo #ivankatrump #celebrityhairstylist #chignon #ny #nychairstylist #celebrityhair #ivankahairstylist.”

Trump paired the romantic updo with a figure-fitting green Roland Mouret midi dress and classic black pumps. She kept her makeup minimal with a subtle rosy lip and flushed cheeks. Her stepmother Melania Trump wowed in a vibrant bright pink Gucci Pussy-bow silk crepe de chine shirt, which retails for a whopping $1,100. It was also one of the most buzzed about debate topics on Twitter Sunday night.
