Ivanka Trump channels style icon Rihanna in $7,990 gown

Even first daughter Ivanka Trump is not immune to the influence of CFDA Fashion Icon Award recipient Rihanna. On Saturday night, the first daughter wore a gorgeous white and black $7,990 Carolina Herrera gown that resembled Rihanna’s historic Giambattista Valli hot pink 2015 Grammy Awards dress.

It was also first daughter and granddaughter play time on Saturday night. Trump and her adorable 6-year-old, Arabella, had some fun and games before the White House adviser stepped out for a night on the town. She attended the 133rd Gridiron Club and Foundation dinner alongside her husband, Jared Kushner, and the president.

Trump shared a photo on Instagram while wearing the voluminous dress, her hair center-parted and pulled back in a low bun. The 36-year-old accessorized with statement diamond earrings and a bold red lip. She captioned the quirky photo, “My pre-game partner in crime!” referencing her daughter.

“The sweetest ever! Love u and your family! You are beautiful in every way!” wrote a fan. “Absolutely stunning. That dress is perfection,” added another.

While Arabella was playing pretending to hide under her mom’s big dress, commenters couldn’t help but joke about some other family members that could hide under there as well. “Your dad is under the dress too,” wrote a commenter.

The mother of three posts about her children regularly on social media. Earlier this last month, she shared a photo of 3-year-old Joseph on an airplane. She captioned the post, “Joseph watching Grandpa deplane Air Force One.”

And back in December, she shared a family photo including Arabella and Joseph, only missing her almost 2-year-old, Theodore James.
