It's a 10! Super Bowl Will Feature First-Ever Ad From Indie Hair Care Brand

Among a host of other events that happen during February, one of the biggest is the Super Bowl. This year’s main event will feature the Atlanta Falcons playing against the New England Patriots. While millions of spectators look forward to viewing the actual game, lots of others also get excited for the creative commercials that run during the big game.

For the first time ever, Super Bowl 51 will feature an ad from an indie brand known as It’s a 10 Haircare. The South Florida-based company managed to get a 30-second spot for millions to see.

Expressing her excitement for “bringing the brand to the forefront of America,” co-founder and CEO Carolyn Aronson told Yahoo Beauty, “We’re keeping the theme a mystery until it finally airs, but the ad is really an unveil of the brand in a big way for the very first time. It’s my coming out party. I’ve been at the helm of this company since its inception, and there aren’t many hair stylist-owned professional hair care lines.”

Aronson didn’t want to spill all the beans, but she did share that the brand’s hero bestsellers and a few new products will be featured in the commercial, which is slated to air during the third quarter. “This ad is also helping to springboard the launch of our newest collection, He’s a 10. Men are demanding higher quality products now more than ever and we’re letting them know that we’re here to provide it for them,” she says.

While Aronson is thrilled to have landed this win for her brand, she also hopes to encourage other female entrepreneurs and give back to those in need. “I aspire to be a role model for women to pursue their dreams no matter what odds are stacked against them,” says Aronson.

“We work closely with a number of powerful organizations, including Christina Applegate’s Right Action for Women. With my He’s a 10 brand, I plan on donating to the disabled veterans that have given so much for our country,” she says. “I hope that this added brand visibility will help to further elevate the wonderful causes and initiatives in the community.”

Sunday’s Super Bowl will be loaded with action. Besides an immense victory for one of the football teams going head-to-head, we’ll also have VIP passes to It’s a 10 Haircare’s monumental ad.
