Who is Israel Broussard's girlfriend? The star of Netflix's hit movie To All The Boys I've Loved Before has been dubbed a heartthrob but unfortunately, he's taken, ladies. Broussard plays Josh Sanderson, one of the crushes and next door neighbor of main character Lara Jean Covey.
Broussard's heart IRL belongs to Life in Pieces star Keana Marie. Although they haven't been too public with their relationship they do love to show off their cute relationship on social media.
Here is what we know about her and their relationship so far.
1. She's an Instagram star.
Keana has over 155,000 followers and is very active on her social media account. She and Broussard started posting pictures together in December 2017, although it's unclear how they first met and started dating.
2. She was born in France.
Keana Marie was born on June 28, 1995, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France as Keana Issartel.
3. There were rumors that Israel is gay.
Some fans seem to think that the actor is really acting in his relationship, and is actually gay. Most of the rumors came from his role as a gay man in The Bling Ring and how believable he was. This is obviously no proof that he is, in fact, gay but that didn't stop speculation.
4. She was featured in a music video.
The Instagram star was in The Neighborhood's music video for Daddy Issues where she is seen demolishing a car.
5. They post a lot of photos together.
The two love to post pictures together and tag one another in cute/ cozy looking pictures. They also write different flirty but non-revealing captions underneath of the photos. There was even a picture that Israel posted on May 1st of this year, where he can be seen hugging Keana from the back and giving her a soft kiss.
6. Israel says she's the best part of his life.
The two have kept their relationship a little hush-hush but Broussard was open about just how much he appreciates his boo in an Instagram post in December 2017. He says the Instagram star is "the best part of his life".
7. Keana has stuck with Israel through his recent scandal.
The actor was in hot water when a few tweets resurfaced from years ago. According to screenshots shared on Twitter, Broussard had written critical things about people participating in the Black Lives Matter movement, had made homophobic remarks about potentially playing a gay character one day, and had allegedly liked a series of anti-Muslim tweets, as well as one message that claimed the Sandy Hook massacre was “staged” to “traumatize” and “disarm the public.”
Broussard apologized for all of the insensitive tweets. “I am deeply sorry for my inappropriate and insensitive words and likes on social media. I take full responsibility for my actions and I sincerely apologize,” he wrote. “This has been a pivotal life lesson for me. I am dedicated to becoming a more informed and educated version of myself.”
