From Harper's BAZAAR

  • Irina Shayk reveals her views on natural beauty in her digital cover interview with BAZAAR.com.

  • The model said she doesn't judge people who get lip injections, but she "always [promotes] natural beauty."

  • She also laughs off tabloid rumors what she's gotten lip injections herself.

Irina Shayk won't judge you if you decide to get your limps plumped, but she probably won't join you at your next appointment. "Look, if somebody wants to inject their lips because they feel bad, God bless them. I don't judge anyone," she told BAZAAR.com for our summer digital cover. "I always promote natural beauty because I think we live in this perfect world where everyone wants to be perfect.

She added, "But I'm not perfect. Sometimes I have a double chin. Perfection doesn't exist.”

Admitting to imperfections may be surprising to hear from a stunning and successful supermodel, but Shayk believes her words. She's also not afraid of how aging will affect her appearance. "I'm going to have wrinkles and I have wrinkles," she said. "You just have to accept the idea of aging and of bodies at every stage, and just celebrate it. In life, we have to let it go and understand it's a human process not to be perfect."

Shayk has great skin, which she credits to genes, gua sha-inspired facial workouts at FaceGym, and avoiding alcohol and smoking. She also can't resist a good tan. "I freaking love tanning," she admitted. But if you insist she's gotten lip fillers, she'll laugh it off.

"And if I read [a headline] and it’s like, ‘She had injections, her lips look like dumplings,’ I just laugh because it just makes me, I don't want to say it makes me happy, but I think in this life you have to have a sense of humor," she explained. "With everything that's going on in the world, you have to take it easy. Some people are going to love you, some people are going to hate you. It doesn't really disturb my life."
