The Russian model took to social media yesterday to preview a fitting with Mugler, posing in a sheer-paneled catsuit complete with a cutout back and black contrast slicing. The look also included coordinating thigh-high stockings that encompassed her hidden heels.
The pointed-toe mules featured black leather uppers with a lifted heel, all tucked into the foot of her tights for a unique finish.
The images last night were a behind-the-scenes look revealed after Shayk modeled the design for the brand’s spring ’21 collection. The presentation, which also featured appearances from stars like Bella Hadid and Hunter Schaffer to name a few, was a virtual depiction of the new seasonal styles complete with theatrics and stunts.
A Mugler catsuit from Casey Cadwallader, the brand’s creative director, has become the new must-have piece for models and celebrities alike. You can find similar silhouettes to Shayk’s choice on the likes of Dua Lipa, Mily Cyrus, Beyoncé and more major names in the past year alone.
As for Irina Shayk herself, the bold look today is just one of the many on-trend combinations that she stays on top of with her off-duty and in-show style.
