After an exciting weekend, going back into work on Monday can be rough. However, after scouring through social media, you may end up running across a positive affirmation that is exactly what you need to get focused and motivated to start your week off right.

Selfloveangel, whose real name appears to be Emya, posted a unique message on Instagram on Sunday about self care — and trust us, it is the perfect pick-me-up post to read before downing your first cup of morning joe.

The photo she posted includes four fair-skinned women, from their torsos down to their mid-shins, posed side by side in gray biker shorts and matching sports bras. Each has body-positive, aspirational words such as “abs of steel” and “squat master” written on their stomach or thighs.

While the photo is what initially lures you in, it’s the powerful yet down-to-earth caption that makes it worth the read. Selfloveangel writes, “Self care isn’t always pretty, it’s not always candles and a bathtub full of roses; sometimes it’s forcing yourself to get out of bed and dragging yourself, sometimes it’s the pep talk you give to yourself or the quick cry in the corner.”

A few lines later, she concludes, “Self care isn’t always pretty, but it’s so worth it.”
