Innovative device tracks metabolism and monitors health

“Hack your metabolism” with Intriex, a metabolism testing and weight management prototype device that helps users reach fitness goals faster by creating a diet and workout plan tailored to their body chemistry, according to its inventors.

To use Intriex, simply collect a saliva or urine sample with one of the included test strips before inserting the strip into the device’s Seein stabilizer, where it will process and analyze the fluid in just 6 minutes.

According to its Indiegogo page, the device uses Vitro Diagnostic Technology to detect hormones present in a sample in order to accurately assess a user’s metabolism and produce a clear picture of metabolic health.

Once a user syncs Intriex to a smartphone, it will show a detailed report with key health indicators such as body fat index, resting metabolic rate and glucose ketone index.

The company claims the device can reveal how thyroid hormones, cortisol, testosterone and insulin affect a user’s individual metabolism, energy levels and changes in weight, appetite or physical performance, making it of interest to those trying to lose or gain weight, build muscle or boost fitness performance.

Intriex recently soared past its $9,000 fundraising goal on Indiegogo, raising $64,674 — almost 700 percent of its initial ask.

According to the latest update from the company, Intriex is currently being tested internally prior to mass production to ensure it is fully optimized before its planned ship date in January 2021.

Although Intriex is already speedy in its metabolic assessment capabilities, with new and improved networks like Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband, possibilities will only continue to expand for devices like it.
