Injury Wrap: Add Kapri Bibbs, Elijhaa Penny for insurance

It’s Championship Week, so let’s make sure we do our diligence. Time for the Saturday walkthrough.

• The Broncos have yet to name their starting quarterback, but with Paxton Lynch (ankle) not 100 percent, it looks like Brock Osweiler will go at Washington. Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) had a spotty week of practice and will be a game-day call.

• Samaje Perine (groin) had a setback Thursday and didn’t practice Friday. Washington lists him as questionable. Kapri Bibbs could be the last Washington back standing when this game kicks off.

• Kerwynn Williams (quad) did some work Friday after missing the two previous days. He’s up in the air for Sunday. If Williams can’t play, Elijhaa Penny would probably become the team’s primary back, with D.J. Foster also in the mix.

• Rex Burkhead (knee) won’t play against Buffalo, which means James White (ankle) and Mike Gillislee could be incorporated into the offense. Gillislee, of course, hasn’t dressed since Week 8 and hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 2. Dion Lewis remains a solid start, but there’s only so much you can realistically ask him to do.

• Joe Mixon (post-concussion) had a solid week of practice and was taken off the injury report. You can cut your Giovani Bernard shares now.

• Amari Cooper (ankle) has returned to practice and looks on pace to play at Philadelphia. I can’t trust him in Week 16, after the messy season Cooper has given us.

• Damien Williams (shoulder) is doubtful, putting Kenyan Drake in line for another heavy workload. Miami plays at the resurgent Chiefs on Sunday.

• Kyle Rudolph (ankle) isn’t 100 percent, but he’s expected to play at Green Bay.

• Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is expected to play, albeit less than 100 percent, against Denver.

• Theo Riddick (wrist) had a full practice week and should play at Cincinnati.

• With Aaron Rodgers on IR, Brett Hundley draws the Vikings on Saturday night. Davante Adams (concussion) will not play.

• Jeremy Maclin (knee) isn’t going to play against the Colts. Indianapolis will be without center Ryan Kelly.

• With DeSean Jackson (ankle) out of the mix, Chris Godwin picks up the start at Carolina. Godwin has definite sleeper potential, especially in DFS tournaments (he’s the $10 minimum at Yahoo). If you prefer Adam Humphries, he’s $10, too.

• Sticking in Tampa, O.J. Howard (ankle) is ruled out. Cameron Brate isn’t healthy at the moment (hip/knee), but he’s expected to play.

• The Jaguars won’t have Marqise Lee (ankle) against the Niners but Allen Hurns (ankle) has a shot to play.

• Devin Funchess has been working through a nagging shoulder injury. He’s expected to go against Tampa Bay.

The Cowboys have a banged up offensive line, though I still expect Ezekiel Elliott to have a monster game against the Seahawks.

• Hunter Henry went on injured reserve this week, which makes Antonio Gates a deeper-league sleeper at tight end. I’m dialing him up in the Stopa League, where two starting tight ends are required.

• Chris Hogan (shoulder) had a limited week of work and is no sure thing to play against Buffalo. The Patriots list him as questionable.

• Matt Forte (knee) missed the work week but he’s been playing through this malady. The Jets will likely funnel touches to their three primary backs, Forte, Bilal Powell, and Eljah McGuire — though McGuire (illness) also missed practice this week.

• Garrett Celek has a balky knee and a rib injury, but he’ll try to go against the Jaguars. I loved him as a Week 15 sleeper, but I cut him this week, eyeing that Jacksonville defense.

• Greg Zuerlein went on injured reserve. Sam Ficken is the new Rams kicker.
