The first camouflage end zones in college football are a sight to see
First, it was the blue field at Boise State. Then Eastern Washington followed suit and installed a bright red field.
Now, make way for Incarnate Word.
Incarnate Word athletic director Brian Wickstrom tweeted a picture on Monday showing off the school’s new red and black camouflage end zones.

The end zones are being installed by FieldTurf, and are expected to be completed by June 1. It is the same type of turf that the New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, and Texas Tech Red Raiders play on.
While Gayle and Tim Benson Stadium will still be donning a traditional green field, the unique end zones will without a doubt help the Southland Conference school stand out this season.
The Cardinal will take on Stephen F. Austin for their home opener on Sept. 15.
