Guys, let's be real here, this is a safe space. During the beginning of social isolation, everyone was all about baking bread and making fancy meals and documenting it all for the world to see...but in recent weeks, we've all been a little quiet and A LOT eating frozen French fries dipped in hummus and calling it dinner. And it looks like even queen Ina Garten is feeling the heat.

Ina shared a photo of her own version of pigs in a blanket this week because, as she so eloquently put it: "It’s Week Whatever in quarantine" and she's low on time!! This dish was made simply by wrapping some hot dogs in puff pastry and baking them (Ina referred to that as a "high/low thing") and there you go! She also paired it with a small salad, just because!

Yeah, OK, this was still fancier than anything I've eaten lately and it honestly looked delicious. In the words of Jennifer Coolidge's character in Legally Blonde, "it makes me want a hot dog real bad." And I'm not the only one!!

"Oh man. Who besides me is defrosting a hot dog right now?! Ina, you killed it with this one!!!" one fan wrote. "Only you could make this look delicious Ina!!!" Katie Couric commented.

Now off to make my own version of this dish which involves looping canned pizza dough around a frozen hot dog and dipping it in way too much mustard. It gets the job done!! If you're looking for Ina's recipe, though, you can find it here.
