Important Royal Wedding Question: What Hat Will Princess Beatrice Wear?

With just 48 hours to go until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle walk down the aisle, royal wedding excitement has reached a fever pitch. After months of speculating about Meghan's dress, the guest list, and the bridal party, though, it seems as if some royals fans have turned their focus instead to another very important aspect of Saturday's festivities: the attendees' over-the-top fascinators.

Perhaps most anticipated of all are Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie's choices of headwear. Back in 2011, when Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot at Westminster Abbey, the two sisters — Will and Harry's first cousins — blew all the other guests' ensembles out of the water with their truly unbelievable hats.

Eugenie opted for a blue cap pinned to the front of her head and adorned with a precarious explosion of white and violet flowers, but it was Eugenie's fascinator that really captured the public's attention. Like her sister, she wore her pale pink hat pinned to the front of her head, but hers featured a huge open circle topped with a bow that appeared to be floating in front of her forehead, as seen in the photo below.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, that's not the only eye-catching hat Beatrice has sported over the years; she's basically an expert at matching her gravity-defying fascinators to her outfits. As seen in these pics, she's attached hats to her head at pretty much every possible angle and even once made a headful of butterflies look incredibly cool.

Therefore, it comes as absolutely no surprise that people are very much looking forward to seeing what the princess wears to her cousin's wedding this weekend. Many have tweeted in recent weeks about being more excited for Beatrice's hat than for Meghan's dress, and several more even admitted that the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Beatrice's potential fascinator is the only reason they'll be waking up early to watch the royal wedding. And really — can you blame them?
