Nike Basketball may be introducing the new signature shoe of Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George soon.

Sneaker social media account @Sneakerhighway23 shared what appears to be a first look at the upcoming Nike PG 5 as suggested by the caption on the post.

The unreleased silhouette features a stealthy black mid-cut upper and is elevated with leather overlays at the forefoot, while a bold orange Swoosh wraps around the heel counter. The only indication that this shoe is linked to George’s signature line is the subtle “PG” logo stamped on the air unit underneath the white foam midsole. The look is completed with a rubber outsole featuring a traction pattern inspired by a footprint.

George is one of only five active NBA players to have a signature line with Nike, which includes current NBA Champion and Finals MVP LeBron James, reigning two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Brooklyn Nets star duo Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. George’s Nike PG line was introduced in 2017 with the release of his first-ever signature shoe, the Nike PG 1. Since then, there has been at least one new silhouette each year.

Although @Sneakerhighway23 shared an early look was shared on Instagram, Nike Basketball has not yet revealed launch info and pricing for the forthcoming Nike PG 5 sneaker.

In related news, Adidas announced on Twitter yesterday that Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is getting his first-ever signature shoe, the Trae Young 1, in 2021.
