This story contains spoilers for Season Four, Volume Two of Stranger Things.

Now that the batshit Stranger Things Season Four, Volume Two finale has likely been consumed by your entire household, you unfortunately don't have too many coping mechanisms left during our long wait for Season Five. You could reminisce over the life and times of Eddie Munson in our interview with Joseph Quinn.

Or, you know what? You could join us in collecting and obsessing over fan theories about the show's future. First up? This absolute gem from the Just The Nobodys podcast, posted to TikTok over the weekend. The theory hones in on Eleven's parentage. Stranger Things leads us to believe that Eleven's father is the fallen Dr. Martin Brenner. And her mother? Terry Ives, most recently seen in a couple flashbacks this season. Dr. Brenner brought Ives into the mix during the MKUltra experiments, which led to the Hawkins Lab kiddos developing powers. Just so we don't step on Just The Nobodys's toes here, check out the gist of the theory, in their words:

"The theory is that Brenner knew that none of the kids, numbers Two through Ten, were as strong as number One. So, Dr. Brenner waited for One to get older to make him breed with Terry Ives to create Eleven—to make sure that she was the strongest, and clearly, she is."

Yep. This theory suggests that we're in for a Luke Skywalker-Darth Vader moment in Season Five of Stranger Things, where Vecna will menacingly blurt to Eleven, "I am your father!" It would certainly make for a brilliant twist, upping the tension between Eleven and Vecna even more, if that's even possible after the Volume Two finale. If you want to see how if the names, dates, and logistics of it all check out—they most definitely do—watch the full clip below. Just know that this is by far one of the best theories we've seen in the wilderness so far.
