ICYMI, Shakira and Gisele Bündchen have somehow managed to make the quintessential G.N.O. even more iconic by making it a family affair. The celebs were spotted on Tuesday night in low-key 'fits at Makoto restaurant, located in Miami Beach, Florida, grabbing dinner with their kids: the singer's sons, Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8, and the supermodel's children, son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10. (Pssst...you can find all the pics of the outing right this way.)

According to TMZ, Gisele arrived at the Japanese eatery first around 7:15 p.m. before Shakira pulled up 10 minutes later. And juuust in case you were wondering what their order was (same), sources spilled those deets, saying they caught up and dined on “a variety of rolls, hamachi, and salads for the table.”

Recently, both women have been in the midst of equally high-profile breakups from their exes. Shakira, for her part, had been married to soccer player Gerard Piqué for over 11 years when the two announced their split in June 2022 via a statement that read, “We regret to confirm that we are separating. We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect.”

In the time since, the singer has released a slew of hugely successful songs, including “Monotanía,” which is speculated to be about the fallout between the former couple. In January 2023, Shakira released her most OMG-worthy track titled “BZRP Music Sessions #53” all about her ex's betrayal (which she found out about thanks to some jam 👀) and even referenced his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Martí. “I’m too good for you, and that’s why you’re with someone just like you,” Shakira sings in Spanish in the collaboration with Argentine DJ Bizarrap.

Earlier this month, when the celeb was recognized as Billboard’s Woman of the Year at the Latin Women in Music Gala in Miami, she took a moment to celebrate women and speak about her past year, alluding to everything that went down between herself and Gerard:

“This has been a year of seismic change in my life where I’ve felt more than ever and very personally what it is to be women. And what it means,” she said to the crowd. “It’s been a year where I’ve realized we women are stronger than we think, braver than we believed, more independent than we were taught to be. Because what woman hasn’t, at some time in her life, forgotten herself because she’s seeking the attention and love of someone else?”

Gisele, for her part, went through her own split in October 2022 with Tom Brady after more than 13 years of marriage. Around five months after she and Tom officially finalized their divorce, the model finally broke her silence about the matter and discussed where she stands today and what actually led to the split. “It's like a death and a rebirth,” she confessed in an interview with Vanity Fair, explaining she has been mourning “the death of my dream.”

“It's tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know?” she continued before adding, “I believed in fairy tales when I was a kid. I think it's beautiful to believe in that. I mean, I'm so grateful I did.” The Brazilian model also addressed all the rumors about the supposed reason why she and Tom ultimately broke up, calling allegations that it had to do with him returning to play football “very hurtful” and “the craziest thing I've ever heard.” In reality, the athlete's career was apparently “one piece of a much bigger puzzle.”

“When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make. That doesn't mean you don't love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It's a dance. It's a balance,” Gisele said. “We're not playing against each other. We are a team, and that's beautiful. I look back and I have no regrets. I loved every bit of it.”
