ICYMI: '9-1-1' Star Angela Bassett Wore the Most Incredible Dress During the 2021 Emmy Awards

Give us a second. We're still picking up our jaws from the floor after seeing 9-1-1 star Angela Bassett at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards.

The award-winning actress, producer, director, and activist continues to stun at the graceful age of 63. She recently walked the red carpet at the 2021 Emmy Awards in a gorgeous dress designed by Greta Constantine. The black-and-pink ensemble was accompanied by Gismondi jewelry, a Tyler Ellis clutch, and classic Louboutin heels. Let's just say that Angela was absolutely glowing as Hollywood gathered to celebrate the best in television and film.

Angela showed off her stunning look (and impressive biceps) on Instagram. Of course, the actress garnered some well-deserved attention from fans and celebrities alike in the comments of her post. Fellow actress, Viola Davis, simply said "Perfection❤️." Juliette Lewis left a sweet note that said "This hair this dress this face this EVERYTHING👏😮😍🙌🔥." More fans attacked her comments with hearts and fire emojis while her husband, Courtney B. Vance, wrote, "There goes my baby! Looking fine as fine can be! #shesmine".

Angela's night on the red carpet comes right at the season premiere of FOX's 9-1-1 where she plays LAPD's Athena Grant. The successful show which is now in its fifth season explores the heart-stopping experiences and situations of first responders, including police, firefighters, and dispatchers.
