iCarly fans are still freaking out over the news that the show will be coming back for a brand new revival on Paramount+. However, they couldn't help but notice that two of the original cast members were missing from the big announcement.

Jennette McCurdy and Noah Munck, who played Sam and Gibby, have not been confirmed to return to the brand new series. While there are hundreds of questions swirling on whether or not we will see them again, the producer of the new series, Jay Kogen, reassured fans about their possible returns.

He confirmed that both Jennette and Noah have both been asked to return. According to Jay, Noah has been approached with the opportunity, while "it's her call" in terms of Jennette.

There's no word as to why the cast members haven't officially decided to return to the series, but they have been keeping busy lately. Jennette just wrapped up the first season of her podcast, Empty Inside. Meanwhile, Noah Munck has been reoccurring in the hit ABC series, The Goldbergs, since 2014.

Meanwhile, Jay also revealed some brand new details about the series and what fans could expect. He confirmed that the show will be for adults, so don't expect it to be the same Nickelodeon jokes that you're used to.

Jay also confirmed that filming is set to start in March 2021, so hopefully, this means we'll get the reboot by the end of the year.

So wake up the members of iCarly nation, your time is almost here!
