Husband says he's 'fixing the leaking sink,' but wife catches him doing something entirely different: 'Straight up genius'

This husband almost pulled a fast one on his wife after he promised to fix the sink.

The page @heiscole shared the clip on TikTok. The husband was supposed to be making repairs in the bathroom. But it was just a secret plan to get some alone time.

This Brooklyn home office gets a California-inspired makeover with just $1,000:

“My husband said he was upstairs fixing the leaking sink… 2 hours later, this is what he was doing,” the video text read.

He was doing the furthest thing from anything. He had an energy drink cracked open, a tablet streaming a ball game and a pillow to cushion his back.

Instead of making repairs, he hammered the floor like a kid playing with a toy. Then he gestured toward his head with the drill. Sometimes, you got to know when to fold ’em.

The video racked up 3.2 million views on TikTok. People thought the husband was a genius.

“I mean he is. He’s testing out his equipment while watching something on the iPad. Just hasn’t finished fixing the sink yet. Right?” someone joked.

“No husband is ballsy enough to try this with his wife roaming the house,” another said.

“That man is a straight up genius,” a TikToker replied.

“It’s the kid case over the iPad for me,” a user commented.

“u do whatever it takes to watch the game,” a person wrote.
