Huda Kattan Is Launching a Skin-Care Brand in 2019

The 35-year-old beauty entrepreneur opened about up about her future plans in a recent interview, which includes launching a skin-care brand completely independent of Huda Beauty.

(UPDATE: April 18, 2019): Last December, Huda Kattan revealed that a skin-care line is officially in the works. Since then, however, it's been radio silence regarding the new venture — until now. The Huda Beauty founder took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday to tell fans that her new skin-care line is coming soon. How soon, exactly, she doesn't say, but what she does say is that the products have changed her life.

"I've been getting a lot of comments on my skin, and I don't have good skin so it's so nice that you see all the hard work I'm putting into it," she begins. "We're working on skin care, and it's been changing my skin... I cannot even tell you guys."

She also explains that she's had her fair share of bad experiences during the development period. "I had a lot of breakouts from trying things but my skin is finally getting into a good place."

Naturally, this makes us even more excited about Kattan's new venture, and we can't wait to see what she has in store.

The year might be finally coming to a close, but beauty mogul Huda Kattan isn't slowing down for a second. Last week, the blogger-turned-businesswoman announced the upcoming launch of her new dual-ended, waterproof liquid eye shadows, and this week, she dropped some even more exciting news into our laps: A skin-care collection is coming.

It's the real deal. In a recent interview with InStyle, the 35-year-old entrepreneur opened up about her future business plans, which includes delving into the skin-care market in the coming year. That's less than a month away, folks. And, get this: said skin-care line is actually due to be completely separate from Huda Beauty, meaning Kattan will soon be the founder of three brands. (Last month, she launched a new fragrance brand with her sister called Kayali.)

"We have plans to launch a skin-care brand in 2019 — which is also independent of Huda Beauty with its own brand identity — which is a really exciting challenge for us," Kattan told InStyle of the new venture. Unfortunately, it seems she's staying pretty tight-lipped for now, as that's as much detail as she offered the outlet.

This leaves us to wonder: What, exactly, does a Huda Kattan skin-care line look like? How many products will there be? Which ingredients and technology will make the cut? And what will the packaging (!) consist of? So many questions, so little time. That being said, because Kattan said it will have its own brand identity, this makes us think it's safe to assume that Huda skin care will have a much different vibe.

In the meantime, we'll be here daydreaming about products and packaging, but you know we'll be the first ones to update you as soon as we hear more. On that note, are you up to snuff on Kattan's skin-care secrets? If not, you can check them out here.
