Should you be so lucky to sit at the edge, its curve coerces you to loop one leg atop the other, twisting your whole body towards Whoever That Is on your left. (As Cher Horowitz wisely noted: “Would you look at that body language? Legs crossed towards each other—that’s an unequivocal sex invite.”) Sit at the tippy top, and you have a clear-shot view down each side, including whatever canoodling might come with it. Burrow into the last seat, flush with the wall, and you’re tucked away, safe to carry on whatever clandestine conversations you might.
