This Hospital's Co-Sleeping Maternity Bed is a Game-Changer for New Moms
Mothers everywhere have probably experienced this: They've just given birth and want nothing more than to hold (and stare at) their new babies—but the child needs to be taken to her own bassinet to sleep. It doesn't sound like anything groundbreaking until you see the image. The bed that holds both mom and baby is incredibly modern and intelligently designed, the perfect structure for new mothers who want to keep their babies safe while keeping them close.
The genius little bassinet attaches directly to the bed—and because it's a small, separate portion, the risk of the mother rolling over onto the bed is eliminated. This is an especially perfect solution for moms who have had C-sections and can't get out of bed.

What a great help for C-section mammas too, but most of all, keeping ALL mothers closer to their babies after birth," BellyBelly posted alongside the photo. Our answer? Um, yes, we would love to see these beds in U.S. maternity wards!
