Nothing tops the feeling of walking down the aisles of your local HomeGoods, hunting for an assortment of treasures and trinkets to spruce up your space. It's become a beloved one-stop-shop for many: You can find splurge-worthy items (think: statement rugs, living room furniture and floor-length mirrors), hidden gems and practical staples all at a fraction of their original retail cost.

But we don't need to convince you that HomeGoods is the place to be — if you're reading this, then you already know just how magical it is. That's why the latest HomeGoods news is so exciting: The TJX Companies, Inc, that also own Marshalls, Sierra, and TJ Maxx, just launched a HomeGoods online store.

In an official statement, HomeGoods President John Ricciuti expressed his excitement about the retailer's e-commerce efforts, making it possible for customers to shop 24/7, 365 days a year: “We are thrilled to bring a second way for our passionate shoppers to discover and shop an assortment they know and love. We hope our customers find the same excitement shopping HomeGoods online as they do exploring the aisles of our stores.”

Mark DeOliveira, President, TJX Digital US, shares this sentiment: “HomeGoods.com will provide a complementary experience to our stores, allowing shoppers to pair in-store purchases with online finds to bring their vision to life.”

Like many other businesses, HomeGoods had to shut down stores and distribution centers in response to COVID-19, and currently faces uncertainty about what lies ahead. Currently, there are 820 HomeGoods stores nationwide, and the company remains confident that adding an online shopping experience will only enhance the brand in the long-run. "Longer term, when we are past this health crisis, we are very confident that we will continue to gain more customers and drive the successful growth of TJX well into the future," they wrote.
