When it comes to video games, kids tend to have one in particular that they love to play over and over … and over. Now, your Nintendo Switch fan can play with a customized controller featuring characters from their favorite game.
There are a wide variety of PowerA Wired Controllers for Nintendo Switch, including characters from Super Mario Bros., Splatoon 2, Donkey Kong, and the Legend of Zelda, all for $24.88 at Walmart.com. Little ones love these controllers so much that they’re flying off the shelves at Walmart, so shop soon!
Each controller features a soft-touch finish, an 8-foot removable USB cable for quick response time, and plenty of room for playing. The designs are pretty epic too. There’s Mario, Bowser, and Yoshi from Super Mario; Link from the Legend of Zelda; an Inkling in squid form from Splatoon 2; and Donkey Kong from the namesake game.
The buttons and handles for each controller are customized to match the design of each device.
Reviewers love the designs.
A big perk, Rerez points out to his 160,000 subscribers, is that these controllers are a bit less expensive than the ones you’d get directly from Nintendo. Just keep in mind that the controllers don’t work with the select games that use motion control. However, he adds, “I promise you that these will look and feel exactly the same in your hands” as other controllers.
Hassan Ahmed tells his 113,000 subscribers that “they all look nice” — he ended up buying all six after spotting them at Walmart. “They’re very, very cool,” he later added. He particularly liked the splatter design of the Splatoon 2 controller.
Vanburen20 tells his 18,000 subscribers that the controllers are “pretty cool.” He was also into the Splatoon 2 controller. “I’m very impressed,” he said. “That looks very sharp.”
