New Holiday Obsession: Candy Cane Jell-O Shots

The holidays season is all about spreading the love, appreciating family, and drinking copious amounts of booze. From eggnog to mulled wine, we've had it all. Sometimes though, it's nice to mix it up. Normally I wouldn't associate Jell-O shots with the Holidays, but after these candy cane Jell-O shots, I could get down with a new tradition.
I'll be honest, these lil' jigglers gave me some trouble. It took a couple tries but we finally got the process down. It's a little finicky, but trust me the results make it all worth it. The secret is to keep a close eye on the clock. After each layer, allow the jell-O to set 20 minutes in the freezer before the next layer. When all those beautiful layers are completed, pop the whole thing in the refrigerator for 8 hours, or overnight if you've got the time.
The result is gloriously jiggly layers of red and white. A true holiday party show stopper. Did I mention they're strong? With four layers of vodka, it's a guaranteed hit. I say, step aside eggnog, there's a new Christmas classic in town!
