The mother-of-two will be out the whole week.

Today show host Hoda Kotb will not be on the show all week, but don't worry, it's for a positive reason.

Kotb is taking a vacation to spend time with her daughters during their school's spring break.

On Tuesday morningSavannah Guthrie announced on Today, "Hoda's on vacation." To fill in for her during the absence is Craig Melvin.

Along with Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager also took the week off to coincide with her children's spring break schedule, so this week's Today With Hoda & Jenna episodes are pre-recorded.

Kotb is relaxing with her two daughters, Haley Joy, 6, and Hope Catherine, 3, after the youngest had a serious health scare earlier this year.

She opened up about the intense experience when she returned to the show after a two-week-long absence, saying, "My [three-year-old daughter] Hope was in the ICU for a few days and in the hospital for more than a week. I’m so grateful she’s home."

Kotb didn't elaborate on Hope's illness or other health issues, only emphasizing that she was finally home and doing much better.

After Kotb was missing from the show for a week without explanation at the end of February, fans were very concerned. They voiced support for the Today show star on social media, hoping that everything was okay.

Once Kotb was back, she posted a heartfelt note to fans, writing, "Thank you …for all of your beautiful words and prayers . I have read them all. You have no idea how much it means to me and my family. I am so profoundly touched.❤️."

Since her return, Kotb has appeared happy and bright, discussing her dating life and her personal connection to New Orleans, Louisiana.

After going through such a personal hardship with her family, Kotb definitely deserves a nice break to just unwind and spend time with Hope and Haley.
