  • Hoda Kotb shared a sweet video of her daughter, Haley Joy, dancing during a virtual music class on Instagram.

  • The Today anchor has previously spoken about these “beautiful” music classes, which she would bring her daughters to during maternity leave.

  • Hoda is continuing to host on air, while other Today anchors like Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Savannah Guthrie are working from home.

With many schools closing their doors amid the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S., teachers are opting for virtual learning opportunities so their students can continue their education from home.

Hoda Kotb’s family is no exception. While the Today star continues to anchor on air, her three-year-old daughter Haley Joy is taking at-home music classes with Ryan of Manhattan Aardvarks.

On Wednesday, Hoda shared a clip of Haley jamming out with a tambourine to Ryan’s virtual class, and she’s having so much fun! “Shout out to Ryan for holding a music class today xoxoxo @manhattanaardvarks,” Hoda wrote in the caption, as Haley laughs and jumps throughout the video.

Fans were grateful to see such an uplifting video. “Adorable! Nothing like the joy of a child to remind us of the goodness in the world,” one person wrote. “This put a biiig smile on my face!! Thank you,” another added.

Hoda shared her thoughts about the delightful class in a segment from Today with Hoda & Jenna on Thursday. “We usually do a music class with this great guy named Ryan, and we can’t anymore obviously. So we figured out how to do it online,” Hoda said. “It’s in real time and then you can go back and watch it later.”

Hoda said she loves how Ryan calls out the kids’ names who are tuned into the class. “He never had a bigger class, because usually you can make it to class or you can’t,’ she explained. “Everybody’s on. It’s all the little faces.”

Ryan calls out every name, and Haley was so excited to hear her shoutout. “Haley’s like, ‘He said my name! He said Hope’s name!’” Hoda recalled. (Hope Catherine, who will turn one in April, is a little too young to play the tambourine.)

In December, Today ran a segment about Hoda’s maternity leave, and the NBC anchor said she’d been bringing her girls to Ryan’s group classes in the summer. “It’s great to go to the classes, there are classes out in the park. It’s beautiful, and the guy named Ryan is playing the guitar and the kids are all singing songs,” Hoda said in the clip. “It seems like a small moment, but wow. Here I sit, you gotta just soak it in.”
