Since Kathie Lee, 70, left the Today Show in 2019, viewers have seen Hoda and her new co-host, Jenna Bush Hager laugh with guests, give advice, and talk about current events, but many fans still wonder what Kathie Lee is up to. On the Jan. 10th episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Hoda candidly shared with viewers what's been going on in Kathie's life.

"By the way, Kat's living her best life," Hoda said. "She's in Nashville, she's writing music, she is living her best life. She's playing with the cutest grandkids, putting out good music, so Kat, love you."

Since her Today exit, Kathie Lee has kept active on social media, and recently shared at the end of last year that she has been blessed with a third grandchild.

Kathie Lee's Life After The 'Today Show'

Kathie Lee left Today in 2019, and it was quite the sad goodbye. She explained that she has other dreams she wants to achieve in her career: "It's not that I wanted to leave the 'Today' show," she explained to USA TODAY. "I just had to leave if I wanted to actually fulfill lifetime dreams I have that I'm running out of time for."

The dreams in question? Kathie Lee wants to stay in the entertainment business, but more behind the scenes: "I've wanted to be in writing and producing and starring in movies since I was a small girl when I wrote a letter to Walt Disney and said, 'I want to make movies with you.'"
