Hit Refresh This Spring with Arteriors’ Latest Lighting Collection

In the world of interiors, we often refer to lighting as the jewelry of a room. And just as we love coming across exquisite bijoux, we adore discovering an exceptional new line of sconces, pendants, and lamps, like lighting company Arteriors’s recent collaboration with design and architecture studio Workshop/APD. The partnership, which resulted in an artful, 48-piece lighting collection available this spring, marked the first time Arteriors had teamed up with an outside firm. The aim? To create something distinctly contemporary amid Arteriors’s more traditional lighting offerings. We happen to be particularly smitten with the Glaze assortment, a line of fixtures inspired by the work of Workshop/APD principal Andrew Kotchen’s wife, a ceramist. Each piece features a handmade ceramic shade or backplate (complete with the prettiest crackled ivory glaze), offset by blackened steel elements. Whether hung in multiples or all on their own, these handsome (and versatile!) fixtures make the perfect adornment for virtually any space.
