Hilfiger to Be Guest on Mark Weber’s Radio Show

TOMMY ON THE RADIO: Tommy Hilfiger will be a guest on Mark Weber’s radio show, “Always in Fashion,” this weekend. The designer will discuss the early days, his brand’s success and disappointments and is expected to provide insight into building Hilfiger into a global brand, said Weber.

The show, on WABC Radio (770 AM) airs on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 5 p.m. It will also be live-streamed at wabcradio/fashion.com.

Weber’s show, which began last June, is a mix of conversations with fashion industry executives, people phoning in with career issues, and relevant business content.

Weber’s previous guests on his program have included Daniella Vitale, chief executive officer of Barneys New York; Liz Rodbell, president of Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay; Joseph Abboud; Fern Mallis; Mark Badgley and James Mischka; Michael Gould, former chairman and ceo of Bloomingdale’s; Gilbert Harrison, chairman of Financo Inc.; Jerry Storch, ceo of Hudson’s Bay Co., and Roland Herlory, ceo of Vilebrequin.

Weber is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Donna Karan International and ceo of LVMH Inc., the U.S. subsidiary, and former ceo of PVH Corp. He is also the author of two books, including “Always in Fashion: From Clerk to CEO – Lessons for Success in Business and in Life.”
