Hilary Duff Uses This Anti-Aging Eye Cream All Over Her Face

Hilary Duff is doing all the right things while in quarantine. She’s dyeing her hair blue, throwing shade on Instagram, and, most recently, posting about her skincare routine. What else is there to do? This past week, she let her 15 million followers in on some of her beauty tips and tricks, and there’s one hack that really caught our attention: Duff uses Tata Harper eye balm to not only combat dark circles, but also to diminish the appearance of smile lines.

In the video, she first warms up the Contouring Eye Balm with her fingers, then taps the product gently under her eyes. “Be careful,” she says. “Because that skin is so thin — or will get thin.” Ah, the beauty of aging. Then, she proceeds to teach a lesson as if she’s narrating a real-life episode of Lizzie McGuire: Never use a skincare product for just one thing.

She continues tapping it into her smile lines, or, as she says, the “beautiful lines that start to show up more by the day, it seems.” And just when you think she’s done, she dabs the product onto her lip as a moisturizer.

Using any old eye cream as an under-eye treatment, a smile-line corrector, and a lip balm would normally give us pause, but Tata Harper is known for creating some truly durable and hard-working formulas. This one in particular has ingredients like lipopeptides that lift, depuff, and firm skin, as well as rich java fruit that minimizes the appearance of wrinkles because it detoxifies and increases blood flow. The cruelty-free balm doesn’t have any filler, fragrance, or synthetic chemicals added to it either. So basically, if any product out there could have this many uses, it’s this balm.

If you need a pick-me-up for your time at home, this eye cream, or lip balm, or smile-line minimizer, seems to be it. Below, shop the under-eye treatment and shed some of the dead weight in your beauty bins.
