Hilarious Video of Bridesmaid Using Treats to Keep Son Quiet During Wedding Ceremony Goes Viral

Children and wedding ceremonies have a lot in common: they're both not only the source of immense joy but a good sprinkle of stress, too.
And when the two are combined, there's always a lingering concern over children being children during the highly-anticipated nuptials. One bridal party, however, seems to have figured out a hilarious life hack to parenting during these trying times.
In a now-viral video that was originally shared by TikTok user @dad_move on Aug. 29, a bridesmaid can be seen sneaking a young boy—who appeared to be the ring bearer—treats to keep him happy, occupied and quiet.

The creator later clarified in the comments that no child was harmed in the making of this clip and that he was happily snacking on some Starburst gummies they had on hand.
The ceremony went off without a hitch and soon after, former brides and bridal party members from all across the country were stacking the video with likes and comments.
Some shared their appreciation for the bridesmaid's quick thinking.
"Not all heroes wear capes! Some wear evening wear. 🥰😂," one commented.
"Probably the most important person of the whole wedding party lol," another declared her the MVP of the night.
"She knew what was up. Nothing was gunna ruin the brides day! Way to go! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, [sic]" someone else exclaimed.
One more cheered: "Best bridesmaid ever!! 😂"
Users also shared their original tales of tricking kids into acting on their best behavior in honor of a loved one's big day.
"My son was a ring bearer when he was 3, I gave the officiant a packet of M&Ms so he'd give her the rings 🤣," one recalled.
Another user admittedly learned from the video; "Gummies. they go slower, and quiet! my kid dropped her m&m and they bounced down the stairs," they wrote.
