“High School Musical” Cast Reunites Over Zoom

Did somebody say “we’re all in this together?”

The High School Musical cast is the latest group to team up for a virtual reunion, and it seems as though the OG Wildcats are just as tight today. According to screenshots making the rounds on Instagram, the exciting Zoom call featured Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, and director Kenny Ortega. (Hmm, maybe Zac Efron was busy that day?)

“Guess who’s back,” Vanessa captioned a photo of the stars on IG. Monique shared a screenshot as well, quoting “together, together” in the caption.

“Loving them more today than ever,” Kenny wrote of the cast. “What amazing people they’ve all become. I’m so proud of each and every one of them!”

And that wasn’t the only HSM-themed reunion that Kenny had this weekend; the director also shared a screenshot of a Zoom call with KayCee Stroh and several dancers from the Disney Channel movie franchise. “What Team?!” Kenny wrote on IG.

This isn’t the only time that the HSM cast has turned to their former costars during this period of social distancing. A few weeks ago, Ashley, Vanessa, KayCee and Bart Johnson (AKA Coach Bolton) recreated the classic “We’re All in This Together” choreography on TikTok, which undoubtedly lifted the spirits of fans everywhere.

Virtual reunions have been all the rage lately, with celebs staying put at home amid the coronavirus pandemic. Just recently, the cast of Jessie gathered via their computer screens to honor Cameron Boyce’s memory, while the Victorious cast celebrated the show’s 10-year anniversary on Zoom. Thank goodness for video calls to keep all these stars connected — and to bring joy to fans as well.
