Hi, Twitter Thinks Harry Styles Spit on Chris Pine at the ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Premiere

In a Don’t Worry Darling update that has truly caused the internet to melt down, footage of Chris Pine, Harry Styles, and Olivia Wilde at the film’s Venice premiere has emerged and apparently some people think Harry may have spit on Chris as they sat down? I’ll give you a moment to process.

To be clear, it seems entirely possible/likely that Harry was simply sitting down in his chair and this moment was (as fans initially thought) Chris reacting to how damn awkward it was that Harry and Olivia barely made eye contact or said one word to each other. But once you get the spit in your mind, it’s truly all you can see. The moment happens at 0:04, and just, like, watch:

Before you fully commit to the spit theory, a few things to note: Chris didn’t wipe his hand or his pants, which seems to indicate he was not spit on by Harry (what are these sentences, help). Plus, while Olivia did kinda look down when the moment happened, you’d think she would’ve had a bigger reaction if her boyfriend spit on his costar at the premiere of this movie. Then again…*rewatches minute 0:04*.

ANYWAY! DWD’s Venice Film Festival premiere has truly been something else—between Olivia and Florence not saying one word or exchanging one look, Chris dissociating entirely during the press conference, and Florence’s stylist referring to her as “Miss Flo” in her Instagram caption!
